Brittney & Corey ~ An Aravina Estate Wedding, Margaret River

Sometimes you just know ahead of time that a wedding is going to be beyond beautiful, and with Brittney & Corey's special day it was never in any doubt.

These two are such an amazing pair, so beautiful but so down to earth, and it was our absolute pleasure to get to know them. We had great fun on the farm for their engagement portrait, and then turned those memories into a slideshow to play in the background during their First Dance as husband and wife. Aravina Estate was the perfect backdrop for an elegant wedding, and we all enjoyed a relaxed but classy day together centred around family, friends and having fun.

Sam & Peter ~ Aravina Estate Wedding Margaret River

Sam & Pete's Big Day lived up to all expectations and was a beautifully soft, romantic, and fun day.

One of the highlights of the day for us was capturing the ladies getting ready at Smith's Beach Resort, where Sam revealed her designer Ae'lkemi dress to her bridesmaids for the first time. Sam decided that because her favourite part of a wedding is seeing the bride, she wanted it to be a surprise kept for the Big Day, and it really was a lovely moment when everyone saw her in it!

Of course the special day had so many other amazing moments as well as a lot of laughter (especially when there were a few little name blunders during the ceremony ;-)), and Sam & Pete's Bridal Party proved that even strangers can behave like old friends and helped make the occasion a great day that we were honoured to be invited to be part of.

Thank you all for making the day so much fun, now we'll leave it to our photos to tell the rest of the story. Enjoy the memories!

Xx

Michelle and Jason's Laurance Wines Top Hat & Tails Affair

A little bit of English Gentry…A little bit of Aussie laid back style…a dash of sunshine, a kiss of warmth in the air…the perfect combination for the wedding of Michelle and Jason.

English Boy Jason met Aussie Girl Michelle and they fell in love….And then they chose the gorgeous Laurance Wines for their very special day.

The glorious rose gardens were the perfect backdrop for the stylish top hats and tails worn by the boys. A special part of the ceremony saw Michelle and Jason attach a ‘Love Lock” to Love Chain next to the winery lake, a really special way to ensure their day is remembered by everyone forever.

After the ceremony the Bridal Party, Clare and Carly popped next door to the private Barn for some refreshment and photo time! A frolic in the vines, and giggle on the veranda, and then off to Smiths Beach aboard a fabulous Double Decker Bus. You don't get much more English than that!

The reception room looked beyond stunning, beautifully decorated by the amazing Wez Enterprises, who always do a spectacular job. Michelle and Jason entered to the sound of a bugle horn – very regal!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Jennings, we wish you many years of joy and happiness!

We know that one of the most important things for Brides-to-Be is finding that perfect place for your Big Day - one that suits the style of your dream wedding, accommodates your guest list, and is close by to awesome locations where you can capture stunning images and make joyful memories of your Day. Throughout the course of our work we are lucky enough to photograph weddings in beautiful locations and venues throughout South West WA, and we want to help Brides find that perfect place. So over the coming months we will be featuring the venues that we spend time at and enjoy photographing, so that you can get an insight into your options and choose the perfect venue for you.

This month we are featuring very gorgeous Watershed Wines in Margaret River. Over the last few months we have had the pleasure of photographing several weddings at this stunning venue, and it really is just lovely. The stone building is full of character and is surrounded by immaculate lawns and deck overlooking the vines and dam below. The team are super friendly and helpful, the food looks amazing and the vineyard is only a stone's throw from stunning beaches and the Boranup Forest - perfect locations for your Bridal Party Photos (not forgetting the vines themselves of course!)

If you're looking for a winery wedding in the heart of Margaret River give the the winery call. And of course if you want someone experienced to capture your Big Day there, show you all the best photo locations around and let you in on when the vines are at their very best, get in touch with us too!

Watershed Wines Wedding ~ Laura & David

Watershed-Wine-Wedding-Photography-023.jpg

Family orientated weddings always make us smile.  When the joining of two hands also includes the joining of small hands too…we smile even more.Laura and David shared their special day with their three sons Kyle, Cody and Zayne. The boys enthusiasm for the wedding made us giggle on more than one occasion.

David's expression as Laura walked down the aisle was priceless. This day had obviously been a long time coming, and was so very special to everyone who witnessed it. And when the couple vows to love each other through sore feet in heels, demanding workouts, boring cricket games and the long footy season, you know it MUST be true love! ;-)

After the ceremony we spent some time playing in the gardens and through the vines at the gorgeous Watershed Winery. The reception was beautifully decorated and incorporated a very cool Polaroid guest book attached to a mirror clothes line! What a great idea :-)

And the rules for the night?

Eat well,

Drink well,

Mingle,

Hit the dance floor,

And take some cake!
