Caitlin & Kyle's Ferguson Farmstay Wedding

If we had to describe Caitlin and Kyle, romantic and gorgeous would be the words that spring to mind, and their wedding day was just that, a true reflection of them! 

Everything about Caitlin and Kyle's wedding was effortlessly perfect. They were graced with clear blue skies, coupled with one happy laid back groom and his stunning serene bride, who was the epitome of beauty in her gorgeous fitted wedding gown, it's still one of our very favourites. Caitlin's "rose" hair looked amazing too, definitely an outstanding effort by Hair By Me-Steph B!

They had a traditional marriage ceremony at Christ the Living Vine Church in Australind, followed by the reception at Ferguson Farmstay. With it's stunning vista views it made  the perfect backdrop to a truly beautiful day that we were touched to be a part of.

Everything from the speeches to the bridal waltz (which you two made look completely effortless by the way!) were just fabulous and brought tears to our eyes.

Sarah & Chris' Beautiful Bunbury Wedding

Sarah and Chris came to see us after a recommendation from Sarah's brother Anthony, who's wedding we had the pleasure of photographing the year before, and we are so very glad they did. Such gentle, genuine and lovely people, their wedding day was filled with emotion (even we nearly cried!), love and friendship.

The pair chose to wed in a lovely little park in Millbridge near Sarah's family home, and after the main event we did a mini tour of Bunbury with the bridal party to capture some special memories. 

Of course Jo couldn't leave the family home where the girls got ready without capturing some cute photos of the family dog (a very lovely little Daschund that took a shine to our crazy dog lady and followed her around the house while she worked), and we had great fun finding out all the little things throughout the day that made this wedding unique.

The reception at Bunbury Regional Entertainment centre was beautifully styled by Creations Unlimited and we enjoyed finding ways to show it off and seeing the couple arrive at their reception before leaving them to party the night away.

Gemma & Mark's Moody Cow Brewery Wedding

We just love laid back weddings full of bright colours and quirky style, and Gemma and Mark's wedding certainly fit the bill! 

From Mark's beloved Adelaide Crows tie, to the cool ceremony styling (thanks to Ferguson Valley Events) at Moody Cow Brewery, the perfectly designed flowers (by Scentiment Flowers) and the ice cream van, this day was full of unique little touches that added to the celebration and made it completely impossible not to have fun. 

It was also a day that proved that you don't need matching numbers of bridesmaids and groomsmen to pull off awesome bridal party, with Gemma's maid of honour completely outnumbered by the boys and nobody caring one bit. We say choose who you want with you, choosing your bridal party is not a numbers game it's about having the people you love closest to you on your special day :-)

Congratulations Gemma and Mark, we know you're never going to take life too seriously and you'll enjoy each others company through everything that life brings, and what more can we all ask for than that!

Bunbury Wedding - Teegan & Allen

When Teegan contacted us to book in her Valentines Day wedding we just knew it was going to be a romantic affair. In a time when vintage glam is the "in" thing, Teegan chose to go her own route with sparkles, bling and pink everywhere, the perfect Princess for the day, and let's not forget the unmissable Pink Hummer complete with pink carpet! 

The family brought Father Ian in especially for the ceremony at Christ the Living Vine Catholic Church as Teegan and Mudzy said their "I Do"'s, then after the formalities we headed off into the sunshine to have some fun at the old buildings in Bunbury CBD before heading to the beach for more bridal party photos. 

Back at the Lighthouse Beach Resort the reception looked fantastic (another amazing job by Creations Unlimited), and the bridal party and guests were being well looked after at the start of what was going to be a great night.

Bonnie & Kim chose the gorgeous Alverstoke Barn in the Ferguson Valley to celebrate their Big Day. Travelling from Kalgoorlie to celebrate, they created a beautiful rustic, fun celebration amongst family and friends. Booking our Party Package and Fusion Film, we were there to capture the whole day from start to finish, and we think you'll agree that this lovely pair will always remember the fun of the day and how they feel about each other when they watch this awesome film and look back at their photos :-)

Bunbury Wedding Photography ~ Shevaun and Anthony

Sometimes couples just "fit", and Anthony and Shevaun are one of those couples. It was lovely seeing them so comfortable with each other, so in love, and so relaxed about the Big Day ahead. And when you have friendly, happy families to add to the equation you just know it's going to be a great day! We started off with a beautiful ceremony at Christ of the Living Vine and after the "I Do"'s and congratulations were over we whisked ourselves off to Millbridge to capture some fun photos at Shevaun and Anthony's local park. Then it was a quick trip up to Back Beach to capture some memories of the place that they first got together. I love it when we can incorporate special places and memories like that :-)

The reception at the Sanctuary was beautifully decorated by Creations Unlimited and it was really special to see the Ovarian Cancer Awareness ribbons around the tables in place of bonbonieres  - a cause very close to Anthony and Shevaun's hearts. They looked really great as buttonholes for the groomsmen too!

Congratulations Anthony and Shevaun - here's to a very long and happy future together!

Bunbury Wedding Photography ~ Emma and Brian

Emma & Brian did what many of us think about doing and had a secret wedding!It turned out to be a hot day, but we all coped through the 43 degree heat to celebrate their Big Day with close family at St Mark Park, Bunbury.

Emma looked absolutely gorgeous, her groom was handsome, and their beautiful baby boy Ethan just looked cute as a button in his mini tux :-)

Thankfully we sheltered under the shade of a beautiful big tree for photos after the ceremony before heading into Bunbury for a few more shots and then on to Flanagans Bar at Bunbury Turf Club to catch up with all their friends, who thought they were going to an engagement party!

Needless to say there were a lot of very surprised and happy faces when the newlyweds arrived and announced they had just got married!

Footprints Resort, Preston Beach Wedding ~ Suzi and Ben

The WA sun warmed up beautifully in time for Suzi and Ben's Big Day at Preston Beach Resort, and the place was buzzing with anticipation. After some shenanigans with one of the cheeky groomsmen pretending to have left his trousers at home the boys all got into their gear and then waited patiently while Suzi and the girls took their time getting ready and making sure everything was perfect. The two Ashleigh's did an amazing job of the hair and make up, and Suzi looked stunning in her gorgeous dress. As the bridal party walked down to the ceremony there were plenty of onlookers sneaking a peak from the resort pool and some very inquisitive children stopped playing on their scooters to catch a glimpse of  the beautiful bride.It was a lovely ceremony and Ben and Suzi went off script to make some meaningful promises to each other while their son Brandon, exhausted from all the excitement, finally passed out in nan's arms and slept for most of the day.

Congratulations Suzi and Ben, we hope you enjoyed the party, and here's to the start of your life together as husband and wife!

I love it when our couples have little quirks that make their weddings extra special. Allira had the MOST awesome boquets and flower arrangements - made of OLD BOOKS! How cool is that?The ceremony was held on Marsden Hill, Photos at the Back Beach, and Guppy Park with the reception at Vat 2.

by FAR the wettest wedding ive ever done! I had pride in saying ive never had a wedding rained out before...cant say that anymore!! But it didn't dampen the spirits of these two lovebirds!! Pretty much the whole day had to be rearranged at the last minute, but Michelle had no worries that it would still be the best day of her life, and indeed it was :)

Verity and Jason were married on a lovely Spring afternoon at Alvertoke Farm. Its a gorgeous location, filled with country awesomeness with a dash of cottage cuteness and a little history thrown in for fun.This was another of the weddings I had to 'farm out'due to the arrival of my little man Sam, so we had the fabulous Kirsten Graham from Compose Photography to help us out. I did manage to come for the ceremony which was great.
