Imogen & Paul ~ A Chandelier's on Abbey Wedding, Margaret River

We love it when couples celebrate their personalities in the styling of their Big Day. From the Harry Potter books in wooden crates to the fireman helmet nestled on top, Imogen and Paul added so many gorgeous little touches to make their wedding uniquely "them". We especially loved the cute figurines on the wedding cake and the choice of cars... Paul loves old classics, Imogen loves Kombis, so instead of one winning out over the other, they just had both. Down South Luxury Limo's chevy and Kape Kombi's van were a pretty unusual pair, but they looked cute together and we just loved what it said about our gorgeous couple, celebrating their differences...after all isn't that what a happy life together is all about?!

Chandelier's on Abbey provided a beautiful backdrop for the day, it looked amazing and Carleton couldn't have been any more helpful in making sure everything was perfect. We wouldn't have needed to go anywhere else all day, but being in Margaret River Imogen and Paul asked for some photos in the vines, so the team at Windows Estate very generously let us pop down the road to spend a little time there before the party back at Chandelier's, which finished off the day perfectly.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Roberts, thank you for choosing us to capture your special day. We left feeling very lucky to have such lovely people as our clients :-)

5 Quick Tips for Thanking your Wedding Guests

Your wedding day is one of the best days of your life, and one of the things that makes it so special is being able to share it with your family and friends, the people you love almost as much as your new spouse.

It is important to take the time to thank your guests for sharing in your day and most couples choose to do this by sending out thank you cards after the wedding.

Here are a few quick ideas from us to help you rock your cards...

1. Make your cards personal by featuring a photo of you.  Plan ahead and capture an image to thank your guests either during your engagement portrait or on your Big Day. The perfect pick for your cards!

2. Choose your favourite wedding day image and add a design you love that ties in with the style or theme of your wedding.

3. Have some fun with it and show your personality. After all that's what your friends and family love about you ;-)

4. Customise the design to make your thank you cards uniquely you.

5. Write a heartfelt message to let your guests know how you feel about them being there to share your day. Choose to handwrite messages to each guest, or if you just can't find the time, a custom card with a personalised message is a great way to say thank you!
