To celebrate Eve turning one we are launching a new product - we hope you like our new First Days Films!

Our First Days Films are literally short films starring you. They include beautiful photos and video all rolled into a cool film so that you can remember all the little details of your baby's arrival long after your memories have faded away.

You can check out the story of Eve's arrival in her very own First Days Film, and if you love these short films as much as we do you can book one for yourself!

For a VERY limited time, these films will be on offer for just $500, including a one hour lifestyle newborn photography & video shoot, and a short film of your new baby just like this one. Of course we will work with you to tailor your film so that it is just what you want!

Maddison's 1st birthday Cake Smash!

A little while ago this gorgeous little girl celebrated her first birthday, and mum Nel wanted to remember the occasion with a cake smash!

Maddison had a mini mouse party for her birthday so we styled the shoot pink, black and white to suit the mini mouse theme, and mum even made a special t-shirt to complete the look.

As is usually the case with cake smashes, it took Maddison a little while to figure out what to do with the big pink cake that mum and dad put in front of her, but she had fun checking it out and got herself good and messy in the end.

Happy birthday beautiful girl, we hope to see you next year for your next milestone :-)

Pssst... If you'd like to capture a special time in your little ones lives just check out our Milestone Mini Sessions:

Carli & Shae's Ocean Inspired Wedding @ Aqua Resort Busselton

We knew Carli and Shae's wedding was going to be a cool day. This pair from Dongara have travelled all over the world and have an ongoing love affair with the ocean, so it was perfectly fitting for them to have a destination wedding on the beach. They picked an awesome spot for it too, with Aqua Resort Busselton providing a gorgeous backdrop to a beautiful day.

Getting ready, Shae was a picture of laid back relaxation, while Carly prepared with a bit more nervous excitement. For the ceremony Shae respected his Maori heritage by wearing a tribal cloak, and the emotion was almost overwhelming as they said their vows and became husband and wife.

Before the reception we whisked the bridal party off to the Tuart Forest and Busselton jetty to have some fun with their photoshoot, before heading back to the beautifully styled marquee in the gardens at Aqua to celebrate into the night.

Daring to be a bit different, these two lovebirds swapped their engagement portrait for a Trash the Dress session after the wedding, which they chose to do underwater!

You can check out that experience HERE, but in the meantime enjoy the photography we captured at their beautiful wedding. Thanks for sharing your day with us Carli and Shae we loved being there to celebrate with you all!

Abbey Beach Resort Wedding ~ Bethany & Ricky

It's not very often that we are asked to photograph a Star Wars inspired light saber battle on a wedding day, but when Bethany & Ricky asked us to do just that who were we to say no?!

After all our weddings are all about our couples and we love that Bethany & Ricky had some fun making their day unique and special to them.

Aside from the light sabers there were some other great little touches like Bethany's Converse bridal shoes, and a very bright orange and yellow theme to brighten up a rainy day.

Gemma & Mark's Moody Cow Brewery Wedding

We just love laid back weddings full of bright colours and quirky style, and Gemma and Mark's wedding certainly fit the bill!

From Mark's beloved Adelaide Crows tie, to the cool ceremony styling (thanks to Ferguson Valley Events) at Moody Cow Brewery, the perfectly designed flowers (by Scentiment Flowers) and the ice cream van, this day was full of unique little touches that added to the celebration and made it completely impossible not to have fun.

It was also a day that proved that you don't need matching numbers of bridesmaids and groomsmen to pull off awesome bridal party, with Gemma's maid of honour completely outnumbered by the boys and nobody caring one bit. We say choose who you want with you, choosing your bridal party is not a numbers game it's about having the people you love closest to you on your special day :-)

Congratulations Gemma and Mark, we know you're never going to take life too seriously and you'll enjoy each others company through everything that life brings, and what more can we all ask for than that!

~

If you're having an awesome wedding like Gemma and Mark's and you want to remember it in style, check out our Wedding Photography Services . With quality photography and video coverage we've got your memories covered!

Oh and don't forget to check out their beautiful album, which we designed and created for this lovely pair :-)

Margaret River Wedding ~ Samantha & Richard

margaret-river-wedding-photographer.jpg

We had been looking forward to Samantha and Richards wedding for MONTHS!! It was a big lead up...

Sam entered our Fabulous Fusion Love Story competition back at the start of 2013 and won with her gorgeous tale of how the two of them met and fell in love. From there we produced their Fusion Love Story, and they had so much fun they booked us for their wedding too!

Fast Forward a year to 2nd March 2014, and we finally got to share their special day at Leeuwin Estate, Margaret River with their family and friends, and gorgeous bridal party.

The bridal Party portraits were held at Prevelly Beach rivermouth and the Vineyard. We produced our very first wedding fusion film for their special day so we had the whole gang at this wedding - Clare, Jo and John! It may have looked a little  like they had paparazzi after them but everyone had a great time, and we promise to show off their awesome film very soon!

Why do we do this every year?

Clare's father-in-law, David Silvestro, was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the beginning of 2010. Sadly he lost his battle in mid April 2011. We miss him dreadfully and it makes us value our own dad's and families even more.

Because of this, we have chosen to hold a yearly fundraising event, a family portrait day in honor of Clare's father-in-law to coincide with Father’s Day and at the same time raise money for a VERY worthwhile cause.

PROUDLY SUPPORTING BOWEL CANCER AUSTRALIA,

Our aims are to raise money for Bowel Cancer Australia, as well as to increase the awareness of bowel cancer.

Bowel cancer claims close to 80 lives every week. It is the 2nd biggest cancer killer in Australia, but probably the least well known. The worse thing is, It can be treated successfully in 90 per cent of cases if caught in time, however, by the time you show symptoms it may be too late.

The National Bowel Cancer Screening Program has been put in place in an attempt to help reduce deaths by finding the disease before its too late. The program has saved more than 11,000 lives since bowel cancer screening was introduced in 2006, including my mother-in-law. But the problem is…not many people know about it.
