Bunbury Studio Photography ~ The Hamilton Girls

Recently we had the pleasure of having three gorgeous little girls in the studio. Bec, Dayle, and their two girls had just welcomed baby Willow into their family, and what better way to celebrate this new chapter in their lives than with a newborn portrait session. Of course we couldn't leave out Willow's sisters Sybella & Harper, so we split our time to have some fun with the three girls together before spending some time capturing some beautiful portraits of baby Willow. I don't mind telling you, a kids portrait session with three girls all under the age of 5 is more than a little challenging, and you need to be quick to get the shots before toddlers have had enough and just want to go and play, but we had lots of fun. The girls did fantastically well and it was lovely to see them come out of their shells and enjoy themselves with us. Sybella is a gentle, adoring big sister and Harper is so cheeky she had me giggling throughout the morning. Love it!!! And not to forget mum who did an amazing job of styling their outfits to help the images look simply fabulous!

Congratulations to the family, and good luck managing three teenage girls in a few years time! We hope they love each other as much then as they do now - and if they don't believe that they did then they can just look at the pictures! ;-)

We love clients who come back for more!We shot Ashleigh and Steven's Loved Up 'E-Session" (they were already married though ha!) about 2 years ago, and they loved the experience so much Ashleigh purchased a session for her Mum and the whole family! We spent a fabulous morning down at St Marks Park, with the ducks and early morning light, capturing the family love and joy shared amongst this group.

We LOVE the gorgeous colour combination chosen by Ashleigh - fabulous choice!

A very chilly winter morning i met with the gorgeous Michelle and Pete...who were expecting a little bundle of joy any time soon! It was so cold our breath all fogged up, but the fog over St Marks Park duck pond was simply beautiful.

Newborn lifestyle Portrait ~ Baby Xavier

One of my most favorite things is meeting the new additions to my past clients families. Elizabeth and Stephen were married not so long ago, actually they were the last wedding I shot before I popped out my own little bundle in 2012.Little Xavier didnt want to sleep for us, so we captured lots of cuddles and smiles and awesome baby fabulousness!

Courtney, Anthony, Benjamin and BUMP!

I love it when we get to know a secret...something super special that's just between a few selected awesome people, and us, just for a short time....I got to spend an afternoon with Courtney and Anthony, recording their pregnancy announcement!! YAY! I knew before their family did! (not the grandparents...but the rest of them...)

One Facebook Post later, along with our amazing images, and the world was told...

We also got to have fun with Super Pup  Benjamin...their first baby - around the grounds of Thomas Little Hall in Dardanup, and Courtney's family farm a little further south.

Townsend Family Portrait

One lovely weekend I trundled up to Sunny Perth and met up with the family of a past Bride and Groom!! Elizabeth and Steven, along with Lizzie's family AND new baby Xavier! YAY!! And all in my old stomping ground of Palmyra. I hadn't been to this particular park since I was at High School, so it was a lovely trip down memory lane.

Southwest Maternity and Newborn Photography ~ Baby Hugh

Babies...seriously is there anything better?

We had booked in Robyn's Maternity session for an afternoon that turned into quite possibly the wettest April day on record....so our outdoor evening light on the beach session turned into an indoor studio maternity session! Good thing we have a studio now!

I traveled down to Dunsborough for their Lifestyle Newborn session. The difference between a Lifestyle and a Studio session is that a Lifestyle session is more relaxed, casual and natural. I work with natural light, with your home and family...capturing you in your own environment. We can use your baby's nursery, perhaps some of your favorite toys or household furniture.... A studio session is a little more structured, and you capture those amazing sleepy newborn looking amaaaaaazing shots. Both styles are awesome, its just what suits YOU as a new parent!

Bunbury Family Portrait Photography - Mr Kai

I got to hang out with Mr Kai and his folks for an afternoon, having huge amounts of fun!

I created an awesome canvas print of Kai being totally adorable and going to town on his teether.... its now hangs in pride of place at home, bringing joy to their family for ever!!
